Where is that magic list of fat burning foods?

Well I’ve got good news for you – there is no such thing as a magic list of foods that burn fat. But there is a list of commonly available foods that will help you detoxify your body and boost your metabolism. Here are just a few:

* First up is onions. Wonderfully rich in vitamins including the B group of vitamins. Onions also help to keep your blood sugars stable to avoid those sugar lows.

* Garlic is another must have food and it has only 41 calories per 100 grams. Although 100 grams of garlic in any food might be a bit much. Lots of good nutrients in this food.

* Nuts – almost any kind are good but be aware of possible nut allergies. Nuts are rich in fats, have good proteins and vitamins and low sugar. Their calcium and magnesium contents really help with the fat burning.

* Strawberries – only 27 calories per hundred grams, full of vitamin C and minerals and low in sugars.

* Whole grains – cereals such as corn flakes, toasted oats are great. When having cereals though, make sure they are not processed.

* Bananas – great as a snack to suppress your appetite. Little fat but lots of potassium to help the heart as well as calcium and iron.

* Lemons – wonderful for vitamin C. Can use it in salads, cold drinks and has only 11 calories per 100 grams.

* Apples are a high cholesterol fighter bar none. You can’t go wrong with an apple. There is a reason for the saying “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away!”
